Re: Sump oil temperature sender

I did get a few spare blanking plates cut when I did mine, they are from 5mm stainless with an 8.5mm hole in the middle, I could tap them M10 if required.
PM me if you want one, I'll just need to cover the postage and packing cost
Cheers

I got some adaptors made for the blanking plate to the right rear of the casing. Sender screws into the middle hole. Been running it for a year now and it works well. Never had any luck with the sump ones.

Re: Advise on decorating your buss for weddings

I had the same problem. I found that the trick is to use florist ribbon as it is more like material than paper so it doesn't tear. If you fold the ends over and put an eyelet in then some elastic you can then hook them round your sun visors on both sides. I use the same ones more than once.

Re: Lets see your Vintage Speed exhaust set ups! (please) :)

Yes the tailpipe is the lowest part, about an inch lower than the box. Haven't noticed any problems with temperature. The box is very close to the valance (about 1mm) but it hasn't burnt any paint off so it cant be that hot.

What are these?

These came in a bag when I bought my van.
Anyone know what they are.
It's probably something obvious but I can't see where they would go.

We'll be there. Not in the van though, roughing it in a tent.

No problem. Share all you like,
Once it's on the net it's gone anyway.

Does anyone know who the dark green van in front of me belongs to. Either on here or the Facebook group.

Re: No headlights

Had the same problem with mine. I took the relay( I think that's what it's called) from behind the front kick board apart. It had somehow got itself out of line inside and wasn't moving like it should. It was fairly easy to work out and put back together properly.

Stanford Hall Video

I took some video of the cruise and the line up at Stanford Hall last weekend.
Sorry if it's a bit shaky in parts.
I put it on the Facebook group but I guess not everyone goes there.
Here's the link.

Re: Weber hex bar linkage set screws

Wires crossed I think.
I realise now you mean the little grub screws that fasten the arms to the hex bar.
Sorry Vic farm has left my head a bit fuzzy.
Not sure what size they are but they are bound to be UNF.
