Steve, The two pack laquer that oak flooring comes finished in would be great to seal that ply. It's virtually indestructible and totally water proof...you can get it from Brewers I think. Dries in about an hour. Happy birthday for tomorrow! I've been doing a bit today, connecting my heat exchangers...

Here's a thought - why not install some of those catches that pop the drawer out so that when you push the wine bottle back into the holder it pops out on a spring ? Jolly well done Steve...first time pass! Now the next round of fettling starts once you start driving the thing! I've got a long list for mine. I know what my resto cost without engine, red ninex2 expensive paint job etc so I've got a good idea what your build cost is! Probably best to keep it a se...
