Re: Engine wont start, no turnover or fire,

Thanks for the replies, fortunately the problem seems to have been more simple. after a bit of more vigorous rocking than i gave yesterday the bus decided to start normally so i'm guessing thats starter stuck on the flywheel. Question is , is that something to live with or would you be looking to ch...

Re: Insurance theft limitation ?

Being garaged overnight is quite a common requirement,( even if you didn't tell them it was garaged) especially on Agreed Value policies, a lot of people don't realise it's in their policies. It's worth checking and shopping around.

I know the idle mixture screw starts at about 2 1/2 turns out. Can anyone give me a rough starting point for the idle speed screw. its a ...

Re: Wiper Motor Woes

Well, after some more fiddling, and cleaning its now running smoothly albeit rather fast as you would expect, some muck by the brushes appears to have caused the smoke. once it was all clean it started to run smooth and sweet. All reassembled outside the bus and running nicely. Going to fit a voltag...

Re: Wiper Motor Woes

I thought they were up to 64 only, I did look at a thread about converting them , but that didnt seem all that great a solution. I dont know if these voltage droppers would improve things? I'm not at all happy with the thing smoking!
