Re: Banjo horn push removal

The only way I found to remove mine was to carefully poke a thin screwdriver through one of the holes underneath the spokes near to the boss.

Re: Advice re my IRS set up & lowering it please.

99% certain Bugbox type 1 IRS kit, shock mount / bump stops are the same as mine. Bolt on brackets look ok to me, I drilled a third hole in the spring plates for extra security. I believe T2D used to sell the kit before bring out their own version. I bough mine directly from Walter at Bugbox, migh b...

Re: Rear disc brake conversion - EMPI

Ive had empi discs fitted for the last 7 years with no problems at all. It all bolted up first time. Standard bay window master cylinder. In fact they have been less hassle than the csp fronts.

Re: Blown Wiper Motor???

Had a similar problem a couple of weeks ago, the motor would speed up then slow down, mixed with bit of smoke. It turned out that the motor wasn't screwed up tightly causing a poor earth. The movement of the arms would push the motor onto the fixings causing a good earth and a decent speed but would...

Re: Where to get an agreed value from

When I enquired the closest person to Brighton that could value my van was in Newbury. I would be interested to find out if that has changed in the last two years

23 Window Barndoor photo

Found a packet of 'German looking' postcards at the local boot sale yesterday, Though they might be worth a look, most cards were just scenery but this one wasn't. http://i247.photobucket.com/albums/gg140/paulf9275/OberammergauAltePostBarndoor.jpg Back of the card reads - Oberammergau - Alte Post Ob...

Re: 65 Westy getting rolling questions

Bug exhaust should fit the engine, but the bumper wont fit without making holes for the tailpipes, which is never a good look. You dont need seat belts in the van anywhere, motor caravans as they would have been registered originally didn't need front belts until 66/67

Re: What coil?

Ive just fitted one of these, along with one of their electronic ignition modules, alot cheaper than a Bosch blue coil, also seemed to be various different qualities of blue coils about when I was looking. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-AccuSpark-RED-12-Volt-Sports-Ignition-coil-/170579620035?pt=UK_...

Re: IRS conversion kit

The T2D type 1 based kit is the Bug Box IRS kit sold on in the UK. It comes with all everything you need including springplates, clamp on brackets, drive shaft spacers etc etc. You need to supply gearbox, driveshafts and A arms. Ive had mine fitted for the best part of 5 years with no issues at all,...
