Girls-what's not too like,
Cars/vans-again, what's not too like,
tattoos, whilst not to everyones taste,I like.

If you're that easily bored/wound up, i'd go hide yourself away, because models and cars has, and will be, around for a lot longer than you. So, definitely pointless bitching

Re: Straight axle problems with 15'' steels

Get yourself some adjustable spring plates, as they allow yo to drop the wheel down uunhindered by the torsion bars. Or use a 10" wide bit of plywood as a lever like I used to

Re: What Magazine do you read??

Hayburner is my current fave, didn't bother renewing my subscriptions to Volksworld and C&B as they never really have anything that wows me (the occasional feature car/bus excepted)

Re: As of today...

An MOT also states that it is not a certificate of roadworthynes, it just means it has reached the minimum requirements for the test at that specific time. I personally know if my vehicle is roadworthy or not (but everyone has differing standards/ability), but if i had a pre '60, i would still get i...

Re: engine size best options please

I had a 1955cc built for my camper with twin 40's a great engine but thirsty, 23 mpg on a general run, I can get it down to 15 mpg if I drive hard around town. If I had my time again I would put a a new Subaru engine in, moddern technology, and you can put heating in, maybe not the way the purists ...

Re: ANYONE DOING JUST EBI 2013.... 28th-30th June?

Yeah Ok! More info? Where from, what days etc.... Or you like me and not started planning yet? Not been before maybe leave Friday morning not sure ? You will struggle to get a good camping pitch if you turn up Friday. The Rule crew saved me a place at Ebi 4 on the Friday and it was a squeeze.

Re: lack of power

Mine does this when its been stood a while/too long. Waxy fuel deposits clog the carbs minor airways and jets and make it pop n f*rt (parp) like a good un. Completely strip the carbs, clean, blow out with air line, clean, repeat etc etc.

Re: Monroe air shocks

Not all shocks are gas charged and self extending. The ones that are can be held easily by hand pressure so won't help lift the bus any at all. A little air assist is probably your best bet :)
