Re: Does the indicator stalk have to be on the left?

You could remove the indicator housing & gently sand, wet/dry or file off some materail so it will clamp tighter, or tape as you have said but it might show & look naf.
Good luck.

I used a pen point torch to remove the ones I have done. If you want some more advise I would be more...

Re: Reconditioning a fuel gauge

Good morning, I am not taking on anymore gauges as the turn around times are getting too high & not fair on customers, Lee your gauges will be finished this week  I do however have a very good condition working & tested 6 volt fuel gauge for £65 posted or £55 with your broken pointer fuel ga...

Re: Speedo refurb

Karl,
Looking at the image you sent me of the speedo in your van, 100kph the equivilent mph unit would be 70mph. I do have a spare 70mph face as asked but that would leave you with mph speed & kph odometer.

Steve,
Not sure if you are aware but the speedo shown in your pic is from a Beetle & not an original Splitscreen unit.
Sorry if you already new or sorry if you didn't.
Regards.
Peter.

1st reply was obviously meant in jest & not taken that way, However subsequent replies are bordering on being rude.
No need, we are all on here for a common interest & cause.
