Eriba Triton 1999 - SOLD

Hi, I appreciate that there is an extremely slim chance that anyone on here will be interested. However, nothing ventured nothing gained. We are selling our 1999 Eriba Triton (almost certainly not towable with a split  ) https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Eriba-Triton-Jubilee-Model-1999-excellent-cond...

For Sale 1964 (registered 1965) VW Splitscreen ex-Fire engine. £26,500

Hi, We are selling our ex Fire-Engine that we've had since 2011. The van was first registered to be used by Treis-Karden Fire Department, South East Germany. I do have some documentation verifying that, as well as early service booklets. The van runs the original 1500 sp engine (numbers match on log...

polishing/mopping

Hi, I'll be putting my bus up for sale shortly but before I do I wondered on opinions regarding a full polish before hand. As you can see from my avatar pic the back end has a nice gleam while it fades into a more 'burnt orange' look. My concern would be that a polish/mop may remove a layer of the o...

Re: Splits at the NEC show

the set up was great and the vans were a welcome sight amidst a sea of ginormous caravans/motorhomes.

good show though. Big purchase as the show for us. 3 blocks of cheese from Snowdonia Cheese (they had TWO stands - must be popular)

cheers

Re: Inspiration please... Germany Switzerland etc

Neuschwanstein Castle, Innsbruck, Kehlsteinhaus (eagles nest),

best Wiener Schnitzel I ever had was at a little restaurant half way up the cable car to Hafelekar Station. Innsbruck Alpine Zoo (also worth a visit).

bit further east though that you may be travelling.

have fun

should I feel bad voting for my own bus? Would a politician not vote for themselves?

Re: November VOTM - Commercial Buses

Just thought I'd throw in an ex fire truck - original paint, used in Karden, Germany. Has a sprightly 25k miles on a 1500 sp engine. http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k626/jezward/fire%20truck/bus%201.jpg http://i1119.photobucket.com/albums/k626/jezward/fire%20truck/7.jpg http://i1119.photobucket....

Thanks (Fellows/Vv Jim/BAT)

Hi, My bus was long overdue some TLC so I booked her in for a full service (1500 sp engine) at Fellows Speed Shop. In addition they fitted a dual circuit master cylinder and brake servo (supplied by Vw Jim). Perry and his team did a great job. Bus runs lovely, the brake servo is a wonderful addition...

brake servo

Hi, not a technical question but just a comment that I've chosen to switch from a single brake circuit to a dual circuit and add a brake servo for added peace of mind. been listening to advice from many forum members and felt this was the way to go. ordered both parts from vwjim. fantastic turnaroun...

Cheers for the advices. Seems that towing with a S/A rear end is not best practical.

Re: Headlining/upholstery

Hi,

just had mine done at Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers, Headliner, full width rusty lee bed and front seats. I would certainly recommend them.

Cheers

What are you towing?

Hi, hoping for some advice on the various towing set ups you guys have and how you feel about them. I have a single carb 1500 sp engine and it is lowered with a straight axle conversion. It can be quite slow on long or steep hills. Just wondering whether it was worth the cost of going down the tow b...
