Re: New to Scene

You don't have to wait till you've bought your split to join the club. It's probably the best way to find out what it's really like to live with one.

Re: painting a split Bus for dummies!

Never tried an electric sprayer so I can't comment.

If you are just doing the outside then I would have thought 5lt would be more than enough.

Re: painting a split Bus for dummies!

You will struggle at this time of year. You need to use cellulose primer and topcoat with the appropriate thinners and spray when the air temperature is 20 degrees C. While you're waiting for Spring, watch every YouTube video you can on spraying with cellulose. If you get plenty on, you can always c...

Re: Would a 1776 be under-carbed with ICT34s?

I had a 1776 with similar specs to the engine you're planning. It was fitted with baby dells which are pretty much the same size as the webers, it went very well and gave good mpg.

Classicline also do a 10% discount to club members. This has just been arranged but should be in the magazine next issue.

Re: Good news and membership offers

Sorry Who.me? maybe I didn't explain this very well. To be fair to everyone to get 3 months free non-members need to join and/or existing members need to get someone else to join. Your extra 3 months can be added at anytime so doesn't have to wait for your usual renewal.

Good news and membership offers

It's going to be nice, considering the year we've had, to be able to post some good news for once. Despite the loss of revenue from the cancellation of Brighton Breeze, there will be no increase in the cost of club subscriptions this year. It has been £31 for new members and £25 for renewals for qui...

Re: Issue 218

Terry, please accept my apologies, this is an oversight and obviously not done deliberately.
I can confirm your granddaughter is on the list for a birthday card though.
Amanda's efforts were very much appreciated, my own kids were young enough to get involved and enjoy the activities she organized.

Re: Wiring issues

I can't do anything electrical without a multimeter. They only cost about £20 but make sure it measures continuity. With a tester wire long enough to easily reach the back of the van and a crocodile clip at each end you can easily check all your wires and switches are good, connected properly and ge...
