Re: FFS

Has it had a new front panel? It looks like there's a fair bit of filler in there. The seam at the edge of the panel should have sharp corners where yours looks like its had a smear of filler. The flat section under the window should have a sharper corner too. Have a close look at some of the pictur...

Well done Sam, looks like a brilliant weekend. I'm sure we can leave the kids and the dogs behind . Any idea what the prices are like?

Re: Cargo door seals

There always seems to be too much rubber with new seals. I had a set of repro seals (not Schofields) that were so thick I had to split them lengthwise to get them to fit. If you close the doors without the seals from inside the van you will hopefully see how much gap you have between the door and th...

Re: Engine cuts out

Are the floats in the float chamber set and working right? The fuel level in the chamber is critical and would be effected by the van facing down a steep hill.

Re: Engine cuts out

When you say ' on a steep road' does it matter if you are facing uphill or down ? Does it happen on the flat at all? Is the fuel level in the float chamber correct?

Re: How do people deal with/fix stripped sump bolt threads?

The studs are available from most of the usual suppliers, if it's the stud rather than the case that's suffered with age then it's an easy replacement next time you change the oil.

No surprises there. Does anyone talk to you at petrol stations? Does anyone take your photo at traffic lights or on the motorway? Does anyone say my Dad/Uncle/mate's Dad/neighbour had one of those when I was a kid..

Re: Disapearing Pictures

To quote Donald, the club website server crashed bigly. The biggest crash there's ever been. All posts from September 18th to the about a week ago were lost. Were yours in that lot ?
The new server is being brought into service and this shouldn't happen again.

Re: Advert has been removed!

Regretfully as said above the server crashed and everything this side of September 19th was lost. The new server is apparently much better so this shouldn't happen again. Sorry for any inconvenience, but if you want to repost your advert then please go ahead. I've got about 30 memberships I need to ...

Re: CamperJam of Busfest

CamperJam is heaven on earth for the T4/T5 owner. I went for the day a couple of years ago and at about 10.30 mine was the only split on the car park. Tatton Park is better with a large autojumble area, unfortunately it's only a one day show with no camping.
