A set recently sold on the samba for $1500. They were completely mint with original Sigla glass also. THey also came with the aluminium frames to fit to the vehicle

I know EXACTLY how you feel!!!! but I had to sell one to finance the other.... :( still...there are advantages I keep convincing myself... but its not the same feeling at all... I'm in a lucky position so have kept the splittie. Now it'll only get used in the summer and for relatively short jaunts ...

Same here. Araldite steel fitted whilst on vacation in France last year.

One year on and they're still good and that's driving around at 50-60 with them open!

I had a read up on the Safari's leaking and found that a lot of people rated "butty bits" safari seals. Speaking from experience I would recommend them. I'd say the reduced my leak by a good 90%.
