The Split Screen Van Club

It’s going in a panel van and I intend to cover it with a rubber cargo floor mat. The furniture issue isn't a problem as it had a homemade interior of which I’ll only be refitting the wardrobe and fold out bed.

What thickness of ply is ideal for a cargo floor and can anyone recommend suitable insulation to go underneath.

To be honest the wiring is not in the best condition. It's the original loom and is well over due for replacement so I guess that's the most likely culprit.

I've been having starter problems for a while. I've tried several starters both new and old, replaced the bush, cleaned earth connections all to no avail.
With the ignition on the starter works fine if I short out the terminals, is this an ignition switch issue?
Auto electrics aren't my forte.

Wouldn't touch one even if I had the money. At the end of the day it's a repro and not the real thing which is what it's all about in my opinion.

Apart from the AGM and Stanford hall we don't do UK shows. They're all the same and just money making enterprises where you can buy a tea towel but not a decent swap meet in sight.
I'd much rather do a European road trip.
