Re: Nos crew cab drop gate, CSP Shifter

Actually, it’s not true to say I didn’t bring anything new back with me, I did manage to lift some of my old tat in a fairly clumsy way when I was taking it off the truck, so I need to net off the cost of my Osteopath for the back pain I bought back from my takings for the day!

Re: Nos crew cab drop gate, CSP Shifter

I had a reasonably successful time at Slough/Newbury last Sunday - sold a fair chunk of what I took and managed not to buy anything other than lunch when I was there. I’ll take a few pics of the stuff I bought back and put them up on here over the weekend.

Re: Nos crew cab drop gate, CSP Shifter

Somewhere in between I'd say. It's been in my garage for the last ten years or so, I wouldn't like to guess before that.

Re: Nos crew cab drop gate, CSP Shifter

Yes, it’s the pre 67 model year. I paid £600 for it, don’t particularly want to let it go for less than that.

Nos crew cab drop gate, CSP Shifter

I’ve loaded up the Crewcab with a bunch of stuff to sell at Slough/Newbury on Sunday. Two bits that stand out from the rest of the tat I’ll be selling is a new and unused 66/67 CSP shifter for a RHD split and a NOS nearside dropgate for a pre 67 Crew cab.

I have a set I never actually put on my bus. Towel rail style. Still looking?

Re: 65 Crew Cab project

Well, six years and six MoT’s later, I have managed an astounding 1500 miles. Must try harder....

Another clean pass this year. Still not finished the 1776 with Mexican efi.

Re: additional gauges and wiring

Oil pressure sender will fit into a tee piece where the oil pressure sender is now; cylinder head temperatures are normally a ring/washer that fits under the seat of one of the spark plugs; the tacho wiring is essentially a wire from the coil.

Re: Can I sell a log book??

Kind of thought someone might want it if building up a car from an oval shell. It's a nice plate. Let's face it, half the cars we own have been scrapped at some time and brought back to life. It's not hard nowadays to find out if someone's kosher or not. Essentially, it's a ringing kit. The availab...

Re: Can I sell a log book??

Sounds like you're selling something that a car thief might use to swap the identity of a stolen vehicle on to or for someone to put an older VIN into a newer vehicle.
