Re: creative weedeater beam issue, missing parts!!!

as long as the centre spring boss was smaller….you'd be OK, as your adjuster will be clamping it securely in place anyway its only a problem if its a larger diameter…then i guess you could get it machined down all in all, its turning into a fair amount of work….it would be easier to buy some endpla...

Re: Help with front panel fit

I'd use it as is just incase there is any drying issues, plus more solvent means more shrinkage as it evaporates. I use it as is, mask it up and do one half at a time, I will take more off than u leave on. To be fair paint and primer in most cases will seal the joint if the panel has been fitted cor...

Thanks for that I will look into it, would u recommend fitting a are?

vwJim wrote:Their outer bearings are none standard so wouldn't be surprised if inners were different.

That's the fear I initially had, if that's correct then that would also mean the spring boss would be incorrect from a standard beam wouldn't it?

Thanks

Re: creative weedeater beam issue, missing parts!!!

Hi,

That was my initial thought but I wasn't sure if the creative beams would be to the same spec / dimensions as a standard beam.

Are u confident they are or are you it it just a educated guess like I initially thought?

Thanks

Beam endplates

Hi all,

Iv been offered a set of end plates for narrowing my beam but the guy isn't 100% sure now that they are for a split.

Is there a way to identify them?

My bus is a 65 on the off chance that they will work with that beam.

Thanks
