Runs fine but after sitting at idle cuts out

Bus has been running fine but on an outing last week and again today when I got it out of the garage and left it ticking over. If left to idle for about 4 mins the idle slows and engine dies. Runs fine at all speeds and temperatures. 1776 twin Weber 34 ICT carbs. I have a filter after the tank and a...

Re: HELP SPARK PLUG BLEW OUT

Why do you think it overheated? Why do you think overheating caused the plug to come out? Helicoils can repair the thread, but they're never as strong. Not true a steel helicoil is stronger than the aluminium casting it sits in, FACT, back to engineering school for you, however this can only be 100...

Exhaust front and back as close to the heads as you can get. They are not that heavy, I used to be able to lift them on my own....
A long block I could believe but a full engine weighs close to 100kg I'd like to see you lift that off the deck onto a bench

It should also have a section called buses of shame, you upload a photo of your bus if you break down on the way to the location and can't fix it

Re: official UK Cruise to Ninove…

Sounds good,I guess meal and times will be organised via the Facebook group, not being a party pooper but it might be worth mentioning to people that in Belgium the drink drive limit is lower than the UK and that Belgium beers are almost double in alcohol strength meaning just one beer 33cl will put...

Re: official UK Cruise to Ninove…

Interested in this event, so what happens after the brewery arrival , and what day does everyone park in the streets. Do people stay at nearby campsites and is there a cruise back to the tunnel?

Re: Sign this petition to stop historic vehicles losing their OG plates

Fine if it's not been "fiddled with" I've gone irs and my OG engine was stolen so I'm over the 8points. They haven't told us what's in store but they wouldn't be doing this if there's nothing in it for the government or else why bother. If this goes ahead one way or another some people are going to...

Re: Front headlights don't stay in :-(

its a combination of the repro seals being too thick and new paint ie high build primer and paint. I have tries seals from two of the usual suspects and no joy , maybe the WCM ones are better. I know a few who have sanded the seals thinner. I currentl run without
