Oil bath air filter 261129611A , 1956 - 59. Would like £150 please

This according to several sources is from a late 50's van but I have been told that it can be used instead of the later one with clips on a '62. Please look at the pictures. I would like £165 for this, please 100585140_344335569877962_1649610545126440960_n (1).jpg 100548315_2498568447122709_21535454...

Machine 7 have 1500 barrels and pistons in stock Terry
Thanks Huw,
Unfortunately 1500 barrels and pistons are not available for the foreseeable so we have gone for 1600's. Work is now progressing :)

oil bath air filter - I have one now thank you

Good morning all. 1967 Split Screen van, basically stock and is remaining that way (just a few changes, like 1600 barrels and pistons to be fitted as 1500 ones hard to get!). We decided to go back to oil bath air filter rather than the pancake ones I've been using since about 2003. When I looked at ...

Unfortunately Machine 7 let me know this morning the parts are on back order and they don't know when they will be available. Any other ideas, please

Re: Barrels and pistons for 1500 engine

So we have tried lots of places to source the above but have drawn a complete blank. Any advice would be gratefully accepted, please.
Engine now in bits and after lockdown I would love to have my van back on the road.
Thank you

Re: Top end rebuild

That has been suggested, although if we can get hold of 1500 then would prefer that route. Thanks

Barrels and pistons for 1500 engine

My sons have taken my engine out of the van and have decided to replace barrels and pistons. Seems 1500cc ones are not easy to get. Your ideas of where to try please.
Thank you

Top end rebuild

My son/s have taken engine out of Rosie for overhaul as low compression on cyl no. 4. Slight damage on piston head so going to replace barrels and pistons now while they have the time and as a precaution. However no one seems to have the parts in stock for a 1500cc engine. Guidance please. Thank you...

Re: Van wanted for Classic Cars cover shot

If only my van would run :( thought it was carburetor but my Trevor and Matthew have striped mine down and put it back and I still have a problem. They are going to look at fuel pump next week. I would do this if they get the van running but probably unlikely.

Re: For the attention of anyone with a Tracker....

I have not read all of this thread but my only comment about Skytag is that it does run the battery down when vehicle not in use, I now have a charger to keep the battery topped up when van not being used.
