On a different note...VeeWee aka GSF’s new Heat Exchangers are spot on with correct internal fins and work very well producing really good heat :D
How do these measure up to originals? I’m looking for some at the moment but woefully unimpressed with those available to buy new!

OG heat exchangers

As per the title, a good pair of OG heat exchangers wanted. Anyone got any stashed away?

Cheers

Re: The VW Engine Company - Catford

I had a 1776 supplied and fitted by them in January this year. Funnily enough it had it’s 500 mile service and check up today. I can confidently say they were fantastic, and the engine is going great - no complaints from me!

Re: anyone tried this "Duxback" windscreen treatment?

It is very good, and seems to last a lot longer than rain-x. I bought one applicator which was enough for the front windows, less than a tenner delivered from eBay iirc.

Re: Buying new wheels

I just bought the Wolfsburg West repro stock 15’s. Got them from schofields when they had a sale on. I had them sprayed stock PGSG (in reverse) but they came in silver white as standard. I’m very very happy with them! https://www.alanhschofield.com/ourparts/prod_6562963-Original-Style-15-Steel-Wheel...

Re: Cargo door seals

Just out of curiosity - schofields kit appears to have different types of seals for different places (and it’s supplied in 9 pieces) whereas monkeydub looks like one type of seal with ‘enough provided’ for cargo doors. Does this work as well as using the different profiles? If that makes sense?

Re: Always love...

I sold a door cooker to a guy who was ‘desperate to buy it’ as it completed his Canterbury Pitt interior. He said he’d been looking for years. In the end I only took £100 for it and dropped it round to his house as I felt I’d done some good to a fellow van owner. Saw him a month later at slough swap...
