As long as the LED position is correct, then the 123 will know where TDC is. The either use the App or a timing light to adjust the the two curves to get the timing correct. Don't physically move the 123's body. I was given incorrect advice and it made it run really rough with over advance at cruisi...

Bren you got the same duff advice as I did initially then. That was correct up to the point of timing as per normal.... I've fitted remove servos in the engine bay before on air buses. Or between the main chassis rails on splits & bays

Very helpful- thanks all. What’s the cost and is it just a case of removing old dizzy and installing the 123 ? Various suppliers & differnt costs, got mine from Dan Simpson. Simple to fit remove old and replace with 123. Follow instructions which are easy which gets engine running. Time with timing...

Start with the easy stuff, check the handbrake I operation / remove the drums / inspect the mechanism / hub splines etc.

Support the driveshafts at running height / level, drain the reduction boxes / check the oil for debris / replace with new

Yes, axle stands are fine.

As long as the rod doesn't touch the steering or the adjusters its fine.

Have the weight off the wheels, clean the muck out of the grub screws, undo the jam nuts, step on the wheels to push them down the desired amount, check the grub screws are tight, tightened the jam nuts, lower the bus down, roll it back and forth a few times, check the height is as you want it, (rep...
