Probably easier and cheaper to just replace with another 1303s box. Plus your 4th gear has about the best for a lower cruising revs. Send a pm to “onion” on here (Owen Warlow) as he usually has a few different boxes hanging about. Or if the van is a keeper, speak to someone like Bears to find out ho...

Did you see the article in the latest camper and bus mag? I did and it's great to see electric conversions in the mainstream press. My only complaint is the lack of photos and details about the conversion... if we knew more about the battery for example we could validate their "range is more like 2...

Yup got mine from Greg as well.
Mine is a March 64 build but I got a Dec 64 expiry tax disc. I had a reason at the time but can't for the life of me remember what it was now :roll:

Did you see the article in the latest camper and bus mag? They had an article on a Brazilian bay that had been converted by a company using Tesla batteries. They reckon they’ll get about 250 miles to a charge out of it. Again though, the downside is that it’ll cost a punter 25-30k to convert on top ...
