I am selling Benidict.

I know there have been a few asking so here we are.

I have been working on B for thebest part of 2 years now and he's just about finished. All the woodwork has been cut and varnished to the best finish I can get and I'm really proud of he smart he's looking.

Prior to the interior being panelled out he had a layer of sound proof, which made a massive difference and then an inch thick layer of fire retardant polystyrene so he's comfortable at night as well as being less noisy when driving.

B needs no welding but the paint work isn't something you'd find on a show winner but it is acceptable.

There's a nice amount of storage in the cupboard, under the westy r n r bed and also under the buddy seat.

Engine is a rebuilt 1500

For the sake of the forum I am going to price him at £14,500 but I have seen a house I'm interested in so if someone was to make an offer I'd be interested.

There is more to tell but no time at present so watch for updates and of course pics.

There are pics in the rides and projects but they are not the best so not goin to put them up here but I will get a decent camera and take some in the daylight.

If you are interested in having a good honest small rear window split you can call me on

or I will be at Vic Farm and Stanford Hall this coming weekend.

Jason

the seat has been made to hug the bulk head, note the curve on the left of the black piece and that the back of the buddy seat is not straight.

Unvarnished in this photo, I will change this when I get a good photo

Looks Like it's gonna be a Nice Interior.
Just two things.
1. The word ''SOLID'' in the subject looks at a quick look to read "SOLD"
May confuse some.
2. What Wood are you using?

GLWS

Thanks for the heads up, I'll change that title.

The wood is Birch ply, various thicknesses.

Hi James,

here is a link to Benidicts work, I am going to do a bit more on him tomorrow, mainly fitting the main table, getting the curtain track fitted, and fixing on the Aluminium trim to some of furniture.

other than that I am just t-cutting and polishing him, he's ready to drive away and is pretty much my daily driver after my starter went on my golf.

feel free to call me and ask any questions

Also forgot to mention in the ad that he has new rear brakes and the heater workers fine.

When I sprayed the sides I purposefully covered the cargo doors. I wanted B to remain honest as I am not someone who will spraypaint over defects. B is a good honest solid bus. There are some small defects like these scabs at the bottom of the cargo doors, but find me bus that hasn't had a major resto and doesn't have them.
