Just when I thought the ignorant planks on the District Line couldn't get any lower, I'm reminded once again that common decency had finally died. An elderly-ish chap got on this morning, perhaps about 55-60 years old, with a walking stick and obvious problems due to his gait. I waited for about a minute, as he was half way along the carriage from me, to see who was gonna get up. Disgraceful
I had to walk past 11 people sat down to get to him to offer my seat. Those folk should hang their sorry-assed heads in shame.
Common decency, manners, call it what you will. I'd be ashamed to have someone have to walk past me to do that.
Shalom, Lee
