Went to bug jam today and dam it was full of chavs ive just got back into v dubs after ten years away and bug jams never used to be like that or am i getting old lol

and you start by meeting where all the Run To The Sun Chavs are going. I went 2 years back and that was my last ever time.

You'll get to a great show..... DUBZUPTNORFF!!!!! LOL....

Just when you think you have nice spot, surrounded by friends and cool buses, a little tosser turns up in a peugeot 106, plays happy hardcore and revs the balls off his go kart night and frigging day. Which of course is like a mating call to other tossers driving equally characterless general motors crap and a horde of Corsas turn up and rev their balls off all night too.

Only one thing to do. Head off and play on your 7' skateboard all night.

Good weekend despite the chavs. But could be so much better!

Is it just me or is the watercooled generation taking over all or most of the big shows? RTTS this year was worse than ever too.

Even a show like Bristolvolksfest seemed to have more than fair share... and was such a laid back family show just a couple of years ago. I saw some of my mates pictures the other night and there was a row's and row's of 08 and 09 plate tupperware cars!! Okay, most had a VW badge on the front but it cant be right!!

I must be getting old too ... now ... where are those comfy slippers ... :wink:

If you choose carefully and ask around on her or search for shows everyones talking about you can have a great year with just going to the decent shows.

We've only done a few shows this year but they've all been great.. heres the list of what we've done this year and will be doing later this year.

Wheels Day, Farnborough (Hot Rod and Custom car show, shame it rained)
Stanford hall and Victoria Farm, Lutterworth (becoming one of the best shows of the year without a doubt)
Stonor Park, Henley on Thames
Dubs, Bands and Beer, Selbourne, Hampshire (great little local show)
BVF, Malvern (chilled out show)
Beach Buggin, Southsea (can't make this now but usually go)
VW Action, Santa Pod (went last year, and was great.. didn't see many chavs etc, racing was great)
Brighton Breeze (don't usually miss this, such a nice weekend to top the year off)
Final Fling, Barnstaple (First time this year for me, but looking forward to it)

There are loads of other cool shows.. my tip is support the local ones they are great!!
