Apart from a tracker........ list some method's to prevent theiving b******s from taking your pride and joy!

Caravan Immobilisers/ alarms are good as they go off if your van is picked up rather than towed.

Paint as many parts as you can with a paint stick... your postcode or name or something! under dash, behind seats etc.... Even underneath, gearbox, calipers etc

clip off steering wheel
wheelclamp
steering lock
remove dissy rotor arm etc.
rampost
cctv
etchglass
alarm and pager which works off pay as u go sim.
leave girfreind in the van to scare em off

I did have the idea of fixing a ring bolt to the garage floor and then chaining the axle to it - oh yeah and don't forget to put a big sign on your dash

REMEMBER THE CHAIN

or you might end up with a longer ride!!

weld a mobile phone inside the chassis and have it always connected to the battery.
if your bus gets nicked it can be traced.

guess its like a homemade tracker

Who traces that then? Will the police if it's not a legit tracker?????

not sure Derek from the H&D club told me he had that done on his samba
i thought it was a great idea because the phone will be fully charged and as long as there is a signal it could be traced
