register with www.type2ireland.org and I'm sure you'll get very good advice... when we went over 2 summers ago we could hardly find any campsites!! Have a look under events as there's a fair few events planned now onwards into summer! :)

many thanks - have just done that, seeing your earlier post in reply to Ireland sites - am now awaiting approval by the Type2IrelandForum!!

is there an 'attitude' to wild camping, or can you get away with anything if you're in an old split??!!

cheers
Rob

Eire has gone damned expensive of late... even when we went on motorbike we were shocked at prices... I am pretty sure many places still ok with wild camping except Eire is nothing at all like it was 10-20 years ago regarding 'space'! My split is in Armagh so may see you there sometime as my other bus will be going to get chassis sorted soon as well :) Closer for me (on Angelsey) than anywhere else :)

like you say - you'll get away with anything in an old split!!! 8)

We live in Eire and can safely say that 'tis well worth the trip 8)

Check out sites such as http://www.camping-ireland.ie/

or http://www.irishtourist.com/directory/accommodation/camping_and_caravaning/

but the availability of your own exclusive beach to camp on still exists at off peak times of the year

couple of Irish aircooled forums for ya:
