Heh..Heh    ...
Higher management wanted to go to Warwick today and we just happened to be passing by the door ...
So I had to call in and I took her to meet Maestro Dave...

He was on his best behavious minding his P's & Q's...(well most of the time). No time for tea though
She said as we left (after meeting other customers as well) what a nice genuine guy he is (must be a good judge of character then...she accepted me - well that was 35 years ago though!)

AND out of her lips...
I like the colour of that Van ! (yours of course....)
Praise indeed ...
Your Van sir looks fantastic in paint with wheels and special bumpers fitted!

Low as well! Still you can go up!

It looks great...will be a shame not to be able to monitor progress as and when i call in...

You will be pleased!
Love the combination, walkthrough, double doors and a Dormobile Pop top!

Greg - thanks for the sentiment, but by god he's scary!

Thanks type21 - Your one ahead of me as i've yet to see the colour in the flesh but Dave has remarked the the colour has recieved a lot of positive comments so it looks as if the nail biting and eventual gamble paid off.
White walls on soon so a 'small' raise to the front! :D

Can I ask, are they beetle rims (stock front, banded on back it looks like), is that with a 2 or 4" beam, lovely tuck anyway.

Thanks Richard! :D
The rims are OG 5.5 all round - all a trick in the size of the tyres.
A bit more info on the bug here....
