Is your fuel filter full?

Post by ernie » Mon Jul 17, 2017 8:20 am

hi all,

Just a quick question as part of my quest to locate some recent misfiring issues.

My fuel filter, which is situated between the tank & the pump is virtually empty with the bus running.

Is this normal - is yours empty or full, with the buss running?

Thanks.

As stated in my post, getting some misfiring issues & trying to establish whether fuel starvation could be the culprit.

Should have stated - running a 1776 with twon 40 dells & standard emchanical fuel pump - which on doing some internet searches should be sufficient in most peoples opinion.

thanks.

Never full, but "virtually empty" sounds wrong.
