 Post subject: fuel injection on a 1641 twin port motor pros and cons

hi,
been reading about fuel injection but see that most of the posts are from guys with much bigger motors than my 1641 twin port.....my question is will it be worth it or not on my motor or is it more beneficial to tuned larger engines....proc and cons please would be good.also costs and recomendations.

all pro and no cons as far as I can see, as long as you stick with appropraite size throttle /throttles

cant see any reason not to do it TBH

I have a 1600 tp. I'm using the VW mexi parts (alt stand, inlet manifolds, tb, injector rails and injectors), Taylor Machine crank pulley, Canems ecu. I also had an in-tank pump fitted. All good in my view. VWJim fitted the parts, he commented how nice it was to have parts that "just bolted on" (referring to the mexi parts).

certainly was refreshing to fit parts that actually fitted properly..... Factory parts are so much better r than aftermarket.
