Anybody want a 1960 mostly o.g paint S023 with about as original an interior as you can get?! Only missing canopy, mauser & toilet - everything else is there, including...

New breadbox - mint (still have cracked original).
Egg tray with correct Emkas.
Water tank, pump & switch (all working).
Tap.
Sprinkler.
Original Enders stove.
All original cabinets.
Re-trimmed interior in o.g style repro fabric, original style curtains & cot. Original trim front bench seat.
Original engine compartment cover material.
Repro sisal mat.
Original wardrobe mirror.
Original Erberspacher provided.
Original formica surfaces, catches & gold trim.
Refurbed sub hatch.
6 x popouts.
Safaris.

Would prefer to sell the bus stock, with stock rims, beam & gearbox etc. As Westies go there can't be many as solid with better interiors & patina.

I want around 21.5K for it. The bus is located near Chesterfield.

Gill.

MOTD ?
Running , solid ?
When you say quote :
Would prefer to sell the bus stock, with stock rims, beam & gearbox etc. As Westies go there can't be many as solid with better interiors & patina.

Does that mean its stock now with stock beam etc now ?

Thanks

Full mot, registered, loads of history, currently lowered, narrowed, irs'd & fitted with Erco's, but as I say I'd rather sell it stock, with a stock box, 1600, 15" wheels & standard beam. I have most of the stuff to do it.

The price I put would be with the bus returned to stock as I believe purists would prefer it this way.

Gill.

Hi people!

Right just to apologise for the vaguenes of this for sale ad. Basically I've been mega busy this week and not had time to put any pics up. Essentially I've lost the loving feeling with the bus game at the minute, it's not that I need to sell the Westy for financial purposes, more the thought that a sabatical may do me good!

I am honestly in two minds & that's why the price would have to be right! I would like to sell the bus stock as I have a range of top notch goodies that I would like to Mothball for the next project that comes along...
I'm sure you are all aware of the prices of 'trick' stuff these days! That's why the bus would be more as it is... because basically it's worth more to me!!! I have had much more interest in this that when I sold the Samba, I reckon a nice SO23 is rarer to be honest!

Here's a list of the stuff the bus has...

New 1776 motor with twin ICTs,fullflow & Kennedy stage 1 clutch.
Erco street weight wheels
CSP vented & cross drilled disks
4" narrowed beam
Dropped spindles
Creative rack & pinion steering
Creative IRS
Rancho Pro-Street box with taller fourth
Hella rear fog & reverse light
Hella grilled front fog
GENUINE harp mirror arms with o.g mirrors!
Original Blaupunkt radio
Headlight guards
O.g Ambulance fans
Gene Berg Shifter
Autocraft handbrake extension
Blaupunkt Ipod stero sstem fitted (discreet - no o.g panels cut!).

There will probably be more as I think on!

I would be open to serious offers with the bus as is... Obviously pics will help & I'llget them up asap!!!

Gill.

Due to restrictions at work I can no longer upload to photobucket & I have very little time at home. I will try & get pics up this week. The Westy is for sale, but the price must be right for me obviously. I am open to a px with cash my way on anything with o.g paint up to 63 (i.e narrow hatch), but not a panel van - it must have at least 11 windows! It would have to be special to straight swap, but I wouldnt rule it out ;)

The best thing for those who have pm'd me is to send me your email address & I can forward some pics straight away.

Pics sent to those who have already pm'd me their email address.

The bus can be viewed at anytime by really interested parties.

Regards.

Gill.
