Devon torvette cooker

Postby lonbloon » Sat Mar 18, 2017 12:10 pm

Wanted Devon torvette cooker. The type that stores away in the metal box on the rear of the walk through bulkhead.
And any interesting parts for the interior.

Out of interest which model of Torvette do you have?
Torvete (Clearway) Spaceway WT.
The Torvette Boxed cooker was also fitted to the Torvette Standard... cooker with two burners only and no grill.
Also fitted to the Devonette..
I have been looking for one for six years..
Many wanted refreshes...
Best of luck with your search...
Lol
Have lots of pictures of interior brochure etc.
What year..?

Mine is a walk through it has the gray salt and pepper cab seats. Gray cab door panels. In the back it has a sink and tap unit
Next to the bench seat, a large table, a compartment above the engine to store the spare wheel. Looks like 2 draws but they
Are drop down doors, with removable panels above , a small drop down door wardrobe, and a small cupboard. Then a overhead
Unit. A buddy seat with storage under and sliding door unit above, the cooker which was stored on the back of the passenger
Side bulkhead. It's a walk through bus. 1966. With the Martin walker roof. 2bunks. (Type21f if you can tell me the model
And photos would be a great help.

Thanks for the photos , the one I have is a spaceway model. Can you tell me if it had an easy cool. With the sliding seat above it,
Like the photo with the lady sitting on and cooking.
Also can you show me a double bed made up. And do you know how many cushions is there in total.
Thanks type 21f

http://www.ssvc.org.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=56893.

Yes it had the easicool at the end of the rear seat over the wheel arch with the cut away sloping back..you can see clearly in first photo

In addition to the cushions you can see it had the rear drawer pair of cushions

Best Torvette I know of...

I bought this last year you donkey.......it's for a Devon, it's the standard white cooker, three white knobs, with a toaster.
Had damage to the enamel which is a shame and it waxing its original box, yes, original box, this was way, way, way passed keeping.....so I didn't , but the cooker bits look like new, thus has not been used much of at all.
I bought it fir the parts really cos it's so good..
