MaddyTold you Ian was the guru...
I have the eye glass out studying brochure pictures for evidence of when melaware is first shown in the brochures....
You are entirely correct! The 1964MY brochure shows 15" slotted wheels, tall cooker on pipe legs outside, double rear cupboards on a narrow hatch rear Devonette with wire curtain hangers AND
the cut out with the round Meakin China...
It shows an Aluminium teapot on the table (Not the lovely squat Meakin teapot shown in the 1963 brochures)
But then you know that...I sent you a scan of that very brochure!
I recently acquired four OG Devon 1964 advertising photographs from "Hayes Studio High Street Sidmouth Tel 1054" which show the details of the Devonette Interior and cooker (with narrow hatch and your cupboards), Devon "Drive Away" Frame Tent erected....

Devon Caravette on Volkswagen Standard Microbus and a side view showing cut away door panel and cutlery and china.
i will get these scanned and post them up...sometime when i am not working myself to death..
The 1965 MY brochure shows the Melaware..
Ian and I must have similar geeky approaches...
I bought odd pieces and then bought a box full of Rosa for the Devonette (the 1963 Devonette Brochure shows Meakin on the table with Turkis bus and green mugs and to die for teapot...).
If any one wants pieces we both have a fair collection...I just want a Rosa teapot and four mugs...any one want any pieces? SWAP
LOL
