Don't like the phrase "this really needs to be in a museum"

Nice match to the OG curtains but not surely not OG...they have bigger pattern and would be like these...faded...

But these are 1965

Looking in the 1964 Devon samplebook may help..

http://www.devonmoonraker.pwp.blueyonde ... lebook.pdf

mmm pattern book does look like them..Never seen any in the flesh before...
Shall we pool funds so we can buy the bus and copy the curtains?

Original curtains for sure - she is a thing of beauty but more than I could ever imagine paying.

Asked for interior photos and those curtains are 100%...wow...A really beautiful example...
Let's hope someone who appreciates Devons has some money..

i prefer this,http://www.ssvc.org.uk/phpbb/viewtopic.php?f=51&t=73266 a more realistic price and is the grey one really worth twice this the drivers door and the engine hatch on the grey one dont fit correctly (looking at the photo's) and the rust stain to the headlining and around the rear side windows make me think that its had a blow over and a polish even though the green one is no longer forsale better than that with come up forsale imho

viewtopic.php?f=51&t=73266 this works

i`d say that front door is just on the 1st click (i`d hope anyway)

green is a lovely bus....but this does have original cards, seats, covers, curtains, stuff like that says a lot about how well a bus has been looked after all its life (i think)

and if them shots underneath are original and the bus doesnt seem to have had any welding.....all those things do add a premium i`d say, even if the overall finihed bus isnt as clean as another

looks like a great survivor...yes, its got some interior marks and stains.....but thems 50year old stains

oh...25k on the clock 8)

cant comment on the price, as its way outta my league, can only comment on the bus, and as a bus.....its a pretty rare and fine specimen, interior is in a different league to the green one IMO - all original, all early `ish`
(not that I dont love the green one also :-)

I wrote a reply on my phone and then deleted it but I now have that many boxes open I can't even add a smiley...

If I only had the money....

62 does look so nice...yes it has been resprayed..to cover chips etc...but I have a Blue one and a Green one...would like a ? one...
LOL
I'm with him ^^^^^^
Any way if you have to ask the price...you can't afford it!

without doubt a stunning bus, the interior has a nice patina (?), the low milage is questionable because it cant be backed up by mots and service history, ahhh i hear you cry its sat in barn for 40 yrs. why no pics of the bus before the mister sheen came out and is that over spray on the orange gas hoses (could be the camra flash though). and if its been in a barn for 40 yrs how did it get so badly stone chipped it needed a full respray. :blackeye:

i go back to some advice i was given by longtime member of ssvc ''beware shinny paint it hides the truth''.

if the outside matched the inside then yes 44k is a snip. (like ive got 44k holding up the wobbly end of the bed )

the difference between the green one and grey one is i believe the green one and very much doubt the grey one, imho.

Lovely bus, in my favourite colour too. Still expensive though, however you look at it.

I also agree, the green one was more believable, and half the money

It will be interesting to see if it sells for that price

looks sweet, repro interior is well made, would have been better spending the money having the og interior repaired, as they rocking horse **it. would have been worth it og, but its no longer whats written on the badge. so the 1st green one is still winning for me, as it is what it is. a lovely devon camper. 8)

this looks a bit hard on the above buses but at 30+k and 40+k or $52922.10 and $70562.80 they should be right imho. at 15 to 20k you payes your money and take your chance.

off on a tangent, but what side cargo door is the devon badge fitted, i seen them on both, fixed and opener. mine was opener, grey one fixed, torvette assuming its on the opener as i cant see it, is this year related? or is there no patern

Wow - where did that come from? Never seen it before. Shiny paint though............. :?

Hang on a minute - 1955???? If that is right then it's one of the first campers Jack White produced, before Lisburne started to sell them.
