Hey guys,

Well after 8 months of solid work in the garage getting the bws ready, my engine should be here on friday or sat! Can't frigging wait!! Went for a 2110 in the end, FK8 with 1:4 followers, twin weber 44's, cb 044 heads, 40 & 37.5mm stainless springs, stage 1 clutch, and a nice stainless tuck away. Got a rancho pro street box tucked up in there too 3.88 r&p and the taller 4th.

What i want to know is how long do i have to take it easy for? and is there anywhere good in the Northwest for rolling road that people have used once she's run in, so i can get her set up tiptop!
Cheers
Buster

After you've broke the cam in changed the oil and filter you need to break the rings in, lots of steep hills and gear changes should do it. I would get it tuned and then give it some stick.
Have fun...

Andy

RE performance in Bury is good, Rob Waddington at Minisport in Padiham is good too (though I always thought the dyno read a little "high") the set up was very good.

Hi guys
Been let down by plans of a 2110. I need to order a turnkey motor from some one. Suggestions please! Or if you know of any engines for sale then please let me know!

John Walket "63 ragtop" on vzi built many bus & bug performance engines
including mine of which I'm very happy with, I fitted about 4-5 years ago have ragged it on the drag strip and dont hang about on the roads either! I have covered on average 3-4K/year. Mine is a mild 2027cc and has been toatlly relaible to date! I have no worries in recommending him!

Cheers

Andy
