stolen today in essex reg no NUL300E
Chasiss no 227112257
stanfordhall winner 2008

please keep your eyes out for this van its sea blue and cumulous white. i restored this van several years ago for the vans original owner, yes the van belonged to tonys dad and he grew up with the bus,all his childhood pics are in the devon so it makes this even worse as its very sentimental.the van is as new and stunning, interior is mint, please if you see or hear anything let me know and i will forward any help to tony. the bus was taken in a ten minute gap he pulled over for a drink and returning to the van it was gone, was taken from Crescent Road, North Chingford, E4 on the borders of Essex.

Real bad news. Post up some pics.

10 minutes is too long to be out of sight of your bus imo. I really feel for the owner though. Hope its found soon.

I know if I was to see a camper being loaded onto a flat I wouldn't hesitate to show an interest & try to make sure its all legit.
Really sad news & hope for a swift recovery.
There was a bulk buy on Firetechs a while ago could we organise a bulk buy on trackers?

Surely there are some cameras in the area? I had to request a copy of footage of me earlier this year, from Westminster City Council, and got it, showing clearly images of me and a numpty, so I could make a case. Check the area for cameras in whichever route and request copies as your property might be on it.

I hate this, as it looks like he would have been followed.

Would like to hear a happy ending and hope the bus is returned safe and sound.

Joe, as I told you before, I don't like being called a numpty.

the police think he must have been followed, they looked at the cctv footage of nearby streets but showed absolutly nothing,i think its now a case as people arnt able to leave there vans as they are so desirable,i for one am having second thoughts using mine,if anyone has any contacts on trackers i will definetly be intrested. steve.

http://skytag-gps.co.uk/index.php?optio ... =10:offers

think this link should work, looks a great product and initial cost of £120 (normally discounted from £240 with code).

Have shared the link on FB . Thieving ******* wont stop me using my split tho ( but might get a tracker or better prevention device)

Sad news....

Tracker have never been interested in bulk buy, tried them several times with no success. Plus they're units need ' servicing' every 5 years at £99 which isn't in the adverts.

You would think cctv would have shown something...

can you still track a mobile phone in the UK?
If so you could hide an old phone in the bus, with an ignition feed to a charger.
Better still some old android phones (like the g1) have gps, and I sure there is an app for that. Though gps wouldn't work in a garage.

Also, you could swap the starter feed with the horn via a hidden switch and relay, cos a lot of busses I have had you could start with a lolly stick
