This thread could've been called something else like, '3 men and a Bus' or my own favourite 'Picturesque as F*ck!' as it was our favourite expression after two full-on days to look at a Splity for UrbanVW, but I heard one of our hosts say 'Super Nice' and that sums it up.

So we set off from Nottingham at 2.30am on Friday night/Saturday morning. Me, Ian and Ian's mate Richard (not as funny as Den though apparently) in Ian's slammed T5. We met the snow half way down the A1 and Ian had unfortunately missed the 'How to drive in Snow like Stig Blomquist' driving course, so 20 mph it was down to Stanstead. He reckons there’s even a thread on a T5 forum but we still think he can’t drive! Thankfully, it cleared up a bit and he nearly hit 60mph once so we made the flight.

Landed at Stockholm Vasteras at 10am and picked up our Volvo hire car with studded tyres and drove straight up north 2 hours to the town of Borlange (home of the worlds only Rock University)
Thankfully Richard refused to this leg of the journey as a passenger and did an awesome job of driving for the next 2 days on sheet ice.

Hooked up with Jonny and Jonas who guided us to their Aladdin’s cave of VW's and then we saw it, and s*** is it awesome! Just check out the photos attached.

Sweden was awesome. Minus 28degrees! is bloody cold, Beer £5 a bottle, Whopper meal £9, scenery is stunning, incredible VW's and really nice folk,
