More than that I think...

engine is now running on three... again.. similar to what happened on the side of the french motorway.. Russ round last night he said it could be small end bearing :? :( not good for a 12,000 mile motor.

Need to whip the plugs out tonight to see

Pulled the plugs out last night to have a look.. .No.2's gap had got smaller :?

Then noticed the plugs I had as spare, and replace the no.2 one in france was a different spec... the existing plugs were W8DC... the ones I had as a spare were W8AC.. the only difference was the DC's are long reach plugs.. 19mm as opposed to 12.7mm.

I've managed to pick up a set of NGK equivilant of the long reach ones this morning, i'll fit them tomorrow and see what happens... still dont explain why it damaged the plug in the first place. :?
