Insurance for extended time in Europe?

Postby andyfb78 » Fri Apr 21, 2017 12:17 pm

Hello,

New here so nice to meet you all, and I call on all the newbie excuses....I'm just about to take the plunge and buy a splitty.. but then...I am going to be working in Denmark for 9 months in 3 month's time.
I'd want the van with me..

Insurance seems to be limited to 90days in Europe - so I'd have to cancel and re-insure in Denmark.

Anyone know of policies that let you travel in Europe for more than 90 days?

Who are the best insurers? JK want £900 for me in the UK - which is mad with 10 years NC and no claims.. van value £20k. My last normal van cost £175

Sorry if this is already on the forum, couldn't find it on a search.

Thanks

Andy
