Wild berrys

Post by jayvanman » Wed Jul 12, 2017 1:57 pm

I can't remember seeing wild black berries etc last year and this looks like not a lot is happening.

Did I miss it last year or is something happening to our wild berries.

I see plenty of bees so I do t think its the lack of bees.

I picked some yesterday while walking the dog thru central France. Can't remember them being this early.

Last year the crop was quite poor for blackberries. The previous year we had a bumper crop and it was very early

Bushes round me are absolutely loaded. Long way off being ripe yet though. Elderberries look pretty plentiful too. Apple trees in the gardens locally though are pretty bare. Frost at just the wrong time got the blossom so little fruit.
