The Sussex VW Owners Club would like to extend a warm welcome to The SSVC and invite you all to our show, Summer Dubbin'. We've got lots more room this year and would like to share the space with fellow clubs. We'd love to see you there so we decided that if you have a club stand, each car and driver on the stand can come in for free and passengers get a reduced rate entry too!

If you've not been to the show before, this will be our 26th show! Over the years it has been held at different places, but now the show has outgrown its old venue we will be moving to Hickstead Showground for Summer Dubbin' and it's not just one day anymore, its two days on 11th and 12th August.

Sticking with tradition the show will be a family affair with plenty to see and do for all ages, including the 26th Annual interclub games... It won't just be cars to look at either - this will be the show to pick up the parts you need for that new addition or ongoing project with traders and autojumble. Plus there will be the staple VW show events including two show and shines, campervan cook-off, club stands and a grand prize draw. As if that wasn't enough, there will be a selection of Sussex's finest catering available, licensed bars and live music.

For the first time, we are pleased to announce that we will have camping at our show. Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.

You can find out more on our website http://www.summerdubbin.co.uk
Follow us on Twitter @thesvwoc https://twitter.com/TheSVWOC
or find us on Facebook http://www.facebook.com/#!/SummerDubbin.

So if you'd like a club stand, please let me know or contact the festival manager Matt Spiers festival@thesvwoc.org.uk.

Hope to see you there!

Hiya, Things have been hotting up with the show left right and center. Our traders pitches have been filling up fast. The online booking for camping has really taken off and we've got some really good caterers coming along to make sure you're all well fed!

We're in the midst of sorting out the tunes... We've already confirmed Camper Van Radio who have recently been on 6 music and were at Volksworld.

Oh and you guys can now book your club stand online too by clicking Here!

You can have up to 8 vehicles on the stand per day and they don't have to be the same 8 both days! The drivers get in free and there's reduced entry for passengers... But if the passengers are part of a camping party, their entrance is already taken care of with the camping pass. All the info is on the website.

If you've got any questions or queries, just give me a shout.

Cheers, Andy

Just thought I'd update you guys with some info and remind you to book your club and camping pitches if you're not already done so!

Not only are we a family friendly show, we're also a dog friendly show! We've had a few people ask if they can bring dogs to the show and the answer is an emphatic YES. Well behaved dogs (and owners) kept on leads are more than welcome. In fact as there as so many VW lovers that have dogs we're looking for a trader or two that caters for our furry friends to come along to the show.

I'll keep you posted as we get more updates and info...

Cheers,

Andy

The bands list has been finalised......

Image

And what a live music line up we have for you...

Raising Maisie, Glass City Vice, Habit, The Titanic Dance Band, The Watermelons and of course not forgetting this seasons must have act on the VW Show Circuit.... Campervan Radio fronted by the very talented Kludo White! Oh and we wouldn't want you to think that there's going to be gaps while we swap the bands... We've arranged for MirrorBall Disco to be with us for the weekend and they'll also be doing a couple of Disco's Saturday night... One for the Children and then some tunes to wake the place up whilst Raising Maisie get set up!

Only a few days left to get you camping tickets booked online.... The deadling is 22nd July..... Get them booked and beat the rush.....

We've had a barrage of requests to book online since the deadline so we've decided to keep the online booking system open as long as we can. We'll probably have to close it a day or 2 before the show to get the final passes sorted in time... If not sooner if the tickets carry on going at the current rate! All tickets purchased online from here on in will be available to collect on the gate.... See you at the show!

Hi guys, sorry, haven't got around to finalising convoy yet. Rough plan is. 1st meeting place - Shell petrol station at Littlehampton 8:30am, 2nd meeting place - PDH garage (by BP petrol station) in Findon valley 8:45 - 9am, 3rd meeting place - Buck Barn Texaco / co op garage on A24. Approx 9:20 - 9:30 am. Then off from there to Cowfold, Bolney down A27 to Hickstead showground. Does this sound ok for people?

‎ Hi all, the cruise is going ahead as planned.

1st meeting place where I'll be is Shell petrol station Littlehampton 8:30am.
2nd meeting place PDH garage in Findon Valley.
8:45-9am. 3rd meeting place Kates Cakes along the A24. Approx 9:20 - 9:30 am.
Then a steady cruise to Summer Dubbin. If people want to join in from Buck Barn please be ready to join the back of the cruise as we come past. I think it will be too chaotic to try and get all of us through the petrol station.
All times are rough as there's a lot of people coming along.
See you in the morning I hope. Please feel free to message me if you want to exchange numbers. Cheers
